Sunrise Avenue and Samu
Today is a very special day.
And this day will ever be as special to me as the birthday of my lovely and wonderful son and the birthdays of my lovely cats – living or already deceased.
You might call me crazy, yes go for it! But that’s my design.
Today 10 years ago I went to my very first concert of Sunrise Avenue.
In Berlin, Max-Schmeling-Halle in Gesundbrunnen.
Still remember that I was nearly going to kill a young mom and her not yet 10 year old son. Brought me for the very first time thinking about: why do young kids have to attend concerts?
Why do I wanted to kill them? Because they were talking the whole time. Boy didn’t understand what was going on on stage, and according to mom’s replys, mom didn’t understand either.
Young kids in concerts only happened in Berlin.
Later on I was at concerts in Helsinki too, which I truly love. No underage kids there, although one friends hates actually this rule.
But for us overage crazy idiots it is a relive.
What will never forget: Samu’s voice and his upper arms. Jesus, that man got muscles there. Drove me crazy.
And my right foot, which I hurt a couple of days before and which still gives me pain ten years later.
What a journey!
It brought me to Helsinki for already 18 times, brought me family in Finland, made me starting to learn the language – crazy me. But I am able to order my stuff in cafes, bars and even restaurants in Finnish. Not getting desperate in a supermarket, coz I know that peruna means potato. And many other things.
Compared to some fans I haven’t been at so many concerts, coz concerts are expensive. But I have been to special concerts! Unfortunately I don’t have many pictures of the concerts. Most times I was far away from stage. But I always enjoyed them!
